With this being the opening of Pheasant Weekend in Kansas, I wanted to share my painting, "Evening Refuge". It is always a great joy to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife here on the Plains! The house is from a picture of my wife's parent's old house.

Daniel, I don't know if you will remember me, I am your Dad's cousin in Missouri. I stayed with your mom and dad when Crystal got married then again with your mom after your dad passed. Marline showed me some of your work I love it! Would love to buy some after the first of the year. Are you the young man I had the talk about base ball with?
